Cass’ health hacks to a more energised day…

1. Screen detox – Fuel up before you fire up!

Eliminate stress from the first moment you wake by keeping your phone on airplane mode and take this time for YOU. Breathe, Meditate, stretch, go for a walk or workout before you fire up your electronics. Creating a healthy morning routine will help energise your mind, body and soul to set you up for an epic day!



2. Hydrate before caffeinate

If you want to feel more energised throughout the day save your caffeine hit till mid-morning when you can use the extra energy. Instead of reaching for the coffee in the AM, hydrate your body with a big glass of water because our bodies are made up of at least 60% water so we need it.



3. Incorporate energy snacks throughout your day

These are bite-sized moments of movement that you can schedule in throughout your day to help lift your vibes. Stand up and stretch out the body, do a mini workout or even a walk around the block. They don’t need to be long, but they will be a super effective way to get you out of your mind and back in your body.



4. Breathe… slow down

Meditation is even more important than ever with our busy and very stressful lives. Try my triple eight breathing technique to slow down the mind and let your body know your ok. Inhale for 8 slow counts, hold for 8, then exhale for 8. Use this method when your feeling stressed, overwhelmed or just need a break.



5. Feed your soul everyday

Do something every day that brings you joy and makes you smile. With the amount of stress and mental health issues rolling around at the moment this is sooooooo important to live a happy and healthy life. A few things I love are a coffee with a friend (over FaceTime), a bubble bath and turning my fav song up really loud!
