Lily's Story
Cancer Survivor Lily was diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcinoma in May 2015 and had surgery to remove part of her voice box. The realisation that she could lose her voice and never speak again was a wake-up call for Lily.
Lily has been cancer free now for more than 7 years. She says:
‘It is important to celebrate special occasions like Christmas, to celebrate life and the people around you, and to acknowledge, remember and honour loved ones we have lost to cancer.’

Where does my donation go?
Your generous donation will help fund Cancer Council's life-saving research, prevention and advocacy programs, and information and support services.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Cancer Council NSW is registered with the Australian Taxation Office as an Income Tax Exempt Charity: Charitable Fundraising Authority No. 18521. All donations over $2 are tax-deductible.
Will I get a receipt after donating?
Yes. Please ensure you enter the correct email address when donating to receive your receipt.
